Camping Portugal

Besides three comfortable holiday homes, Monte Maravilhas offers a small camping site situated between the olive and cork trees in the valley. Camping in Portugal means space, peace and quiet. In the middle of beautiful natural surroundings, enjoy a bright starry night with the sound of crickets in the background.
Monte Maravilhas has space for your own tent, camper or caravan. There are ten camping spots for a tent and three for a small caravan. Two spots have electricity. If you would prefer not to bring your own camping equipment, you can rent a 2- or a 3-person furnished caravan.

Saltwater swimming pool
The saltwater swimming pool is located between the orange trees and is filled with natural source water. It is the ideal spot to sit back and relax, read a book or take a refreshing dip. The swimming pool is available for all Maravilhas guests. A stay with us means slowing down and enjoying yourself.

Own tent or caravan
Camp in Portugal with your own tent or caravan in a tree-filled estate at Monte Maravilhas. There are quiet, spacious spots in nature with excellent facilities such as a large kitchen, good sanitary facilities and a saltwater swimming pool. There are nine spots in total on the estate.

Your own furnished caravan will offer luxury and comfort in a quiet valley filled with cork and olive trees, and wild flowers. We have two caravans for two or three people. There is a shared saltwater swimming pool and a luxurious camping building with fully furnished kitchen and sanitary facilities.
For camping Portugal there is a luxurious camping building called ‘Terra’, situated in a central spot in the valley. It includes a spacious shared kitchen-diner, washing machine (for a fee), showers, toilets and a terrace. There is also a wireless internet connection for all camping Portugal guests. On the hill is our second camping kitchen, ‘Lakshmi’, with also a shower and toilet.
Both cosy kitchens are equipped with cookers, refrigerator as well as cutlery. They are insulated against the warmth and cold and also features a wood-burning stove for the winter months. Camping Portugal is slowing down and relaxing!
