The estate of Monte Maravilhas in the south of the Alentejo is a beautiful spot to rent a holiday home or to come camping in Portugal. Not too far from the Atlantic coast, it is in one of the last sanctuaries in Europe. It ensures peace and quiet reaches a whole new level.
Rates Holiday Homes
Renting a holiday home in Portugal is possible all year round at Monte Maravilhas. The holiday homes are located in a green valley with hills and trees and are surrounded by wells, flowers, vine branches, fig, orange, and olive trees. The saltwater swimming pool contains water from our own source.
Rates camping and renting a caravan
Camping in Portugal means space, peace and quiet. In the middle of beautiful natural surroundings, enjoy a bright starry night with the sound of crickets in the background.
Monte Maravilhas has space for your own tent, camper or caravan. There are ten camping spots for a tent and three for a small caravan. Two spots have electricity. If you would prefer not to bring your own camping equipment, you can rent a 2- or a 3-person furnished caravan.

All our creative courses take place in the middle of the beautiful nature of Alentejo Portugal.
We offer various options for an active holiday Portugal. All courses last a week and include a stay at the Monte Maravilhas estate. Meals are also included.

The area around Maravilhas is perfect for a hiking holiday in Portugal. The beautiful nature of the Alentejo in Portugal offers something unique every season. Spring showers you with flower parades and in the autumn you can taste the Portuguese fruit such as grapes, figs and olives. In the winter everything is very green. We advise against a hiking holiday in Portugal in July or August, as the heat is too much
Wintering in Portugal
The Monte Maravilhas estate in the southern part of the Alentejo is an ideal spot for wintering in Portugal. Especially if you like nature, quietness, and space. Thanks to the favorable geographic location the days are relatively long during the winter. Furthermore, the temperature is very agreeable with an average of 15 – 22 degrees Celsius during the day.
