Restaurant Saskia
At approximately ten minutes walking distance of Monte Maravilhas is a small idyllic paradise. A characteristic Portuguese house, surrounded by cork and olive trees. The view on the beautiful valley makes you feel free. The crickets make their presence known and the sun does what it should.
Saskia, owner of this piece of Portugal, has lived in Portugal since 2000 and since 2009 has made her dream come true on this specific site. At this unique place in the Alentejo it is possible to enjoy a traditional Portuguese dinner in a restaurant in Portugal.
Dishes at Restaurant Saskia
Under an amazing pine tree she serves traditional Portuguese dishes such as cataplana (meat/fish stew) and frango com piri piri (chicken dish). Vegetarian meals are also available on demand. There is no menu, as you eat what is freshly available that day at the market.
Opening times restaurant
Saskia’s kitchen is open during the high season from June to September from Thursday to Sunday evening from 19.00-22.00 hours. Booking one day in advance is required. It is possible to book with Saskia any time by telephone: +351 936224207
One can also stay in the holiday house and have Saskia deliver your dinner. This option is available all year.
