By rental car
It is advisable to book your rental car before coming to Portugal, e.g. by booking a fly/drive flight. If you want we can book a car for you at airport Faro with a Portuguese rental company. The car will then be waiting for you at Faro airport and can be returned there when you leave. We then need your name, flightnumbers and dates, time of arrival and departure at Faro airport.
Route description Faro airport - Monte Maravilhas by road
- From airport Faro follow signs A22 towards Lisboa
- After about 30 kms leave the A22 at IC1 Ourique turnoff
- Leave the IC1 at Santana da Serra turnoff.
- Follow signs towards São Martinho das Amoreiras.
- 1 km before the village of São Martinho a sign on the left points to Maravilhas.
- Follow the dirt road and after 400m you'll see the first houses.
